Shut up and Listen!
Today more than ever we have people wanting to hear from God. They pray and pray but get nothing. i believe there problem is lisitening. People say they do not know what they are called to do. they say i do not know what my spiritual gifts are. I say shut up and listen. Quit complaing and pray. Listen with your spirit ears and not you physical ears. This is what God says to us the church in Revelations 3:13
Rev 3:13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
You still do not know what you are called to do. Well God will reveal it to.
Not in your time but his. In fact i believe all people who all save have a calling.
Eph 4:11 And he gave some,apostles; and some,prophets; and some,evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
1Co 12:1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
1Co 12:2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
1Co 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God, calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.
1Co 12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
1Co 12:5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
1Co 12:6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God who worketh all in all.
1Co 12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man for profit.
1Co 12:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another, the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
1Co 12:9 To another, faith by the same Spirit; to another, the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
1Co 12:10 To another, the working of miracles; to another, prophecy; to another, discerning of spirits; to another, divers kinds of languages; to another, the interpretation of languages:
1Co 12:11 But all these worketh that one and the same Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
1Co 12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Gentiles, whether bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
1Co 12:14 For the body is not one member, but many.
1Co 12:15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
1Co 12:16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
1Co 12:17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
1Co 12:18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
1Co 12:19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?
1Co 12:20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.
1Co 12:21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
1Co 12:22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
1Co 12:23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
1Co 12:24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honor to that part which lacked:
1Co 12:25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
1Co 12:26 And thus if one member suffers all the members suffer with it; or, if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
1Co 12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
1Co 12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, next miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of languages.
1Co 12:29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
1Co 12:29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
1Co 12:30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak in languages? do all interpret?
1Co 12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts. And yet I show to you a more excellent way.
So you see every one is called and every one has gift . The Only stipulation is your personal salvation.
So many times we use prayer as a one way street we pray and talk to God but we do not listen to his response .So shut and listen and you will hear a response.

How do we know Christ will return and how do I prepare?
There are people out there today who say that we have been in the end times for years. They say that Christianity is false cause of this. But if the return was closer back then how much more is it now. I know Christ will return because he said he will. You see Jesus is God made flesh and God is not a man that he can lie. This according to Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoke, and shall he not make it good?(Websters Bible) You see it is true he can not lie so if he said he is coming back he is. He reassures his disciples of this fact in the gospel of John.
John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
John 14:4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
John 14:5 Thomas saith to him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
Lets look at 1st Thessalonians.
1Th 4:15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain to the coming of the Lord shall not precede them who are asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 Wherefore, comfort one another with these words.
This next text is to tell you since we know he is coming how to prepare.
1Th 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write to you.
1Th 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
1Th 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
1Th 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
1Th 5:5 Ye are all children of light, and children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
1Th 5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
1Th 5:7 For they that sleep, sleep in the night; and they that are drunken, are drunken in the night.
1Th 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breast-plate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.
The verses above tells us how to prepare we are to prepare by being sober and aware of the signs.
Now lets turn to Hebrews.
Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Okay lets look at this assembling is coming together. We should come together as the church(the believers not the building) even more as we see his return is coming neigh.
Just follow this and you will be prepared. Prepared for the return of the King.

The Falsehoods of Works Based Salvation
How many times have you heard this "Baptism Washes Away Sins." ? What about this one? " I have to do many good deeds to make it to heaven." Well these are to falsehoods taught by people.
They are referred to by me as the heresy doctrine of"Works Based Salvation." I will exposed this as a heresy. So ,First let tackle the" baptism saves " doctrine. 1. Jesus says in Mat 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. 2. The bible says in Heb 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood;and without shedding of blood is no remission. You ask what does remission have to do with salvation? Salvation is the result of repentance (washing away of Sin) which is remission.
Now are to the second subject:Good Deeds Salvation. I know this is false because of what it says in Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death,But the Gift of God is enternal life thru Jesus Christ our Lord. Websters Dictionary defines a Gift as Something freely given (my paraphrase on the definition) If it is Freely Given you can never do enough deeds to pay for it. Finally to tie these two together as heresy turn to. Epehsians 2: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:it is the gift of God. And verse 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. This is How John Wesley co-founder of the Methodist Chruch explains these verses. 8 By grace ye are saved through faith - Grace, without any respect to human worthiness, confers the glorious gift. Faith, with an empty hand, and without any pretence to personal desert, receives the heavenly blessing. And this is not of yourselves - This refers to the whole preceding clause, That ye are saved through faith, is the gift of God.
9 Our faith, our conversion, and our eternal salvation, are not the mere product of any natural abilities, nor of any merit of our own: Not of works, lest any man should boast. So you see this is how i can disprove works based salvation. It is a gift of God
